The fresco is finally achieved. It took me 2 weeks work, 8 square meter canvas and 2 Liters painting, but a real visual impact and big smiles on all the audience. Here are the 4 panels shown.

Petit aperçu de la fresque ce matin, avant la vague de bleu. J’ai eu aussi l’aide de petite mains pour la peinture de la fresque. Je pense terminer d’ici la fin de la semaine, avec normalement la visite d’un journaliste durant la semaine (a confirmer).

Overlook of the fresco this morning and this evening after the blue wave.I had a hand from children coming this way in the library. I think i will finish the fresco for friday, and have an interview with a journalist this week (to be confirmed). Fresco starts again tomorrow morning….

For a bit of advertisement about the exhibition, i have done few leaflets.They are about fish and and about reading and all what it means. Here is the 6 serie of ads.I will put them in the ILAC shopping center to promote the utility of reading.
J’ai réalisé des flyer pour faire un peu de pub pour l’exposition. C’est à propos de poissons (on peut les mettre à toute les sauces). Il y en a 6 differents, je vais les disposer un peu partout dans ILAC, un peu de lecture ne fait pas de mal.Ca peut même vous sauver la vie…

From monday, i’ve started the exhibition of my last art pieces in the Dublin Central Library ILAC. This is one the first level of the shopping center.
The art pieces presented heva never been showed and the selection will include “Jungle Luas” as well.
I’ll be there most of the time (most in the afternoon and evening) for the realisation of a fresco.This is about my last works about the “Silent World”. It will last till the end of the next week. You will be able to see the evolution of a painting, let few words on the golden leaf (not yet a book), buy the art piece (just in case you had any blanck walls in your home), help me to cover a bit of the canvas….

Exposition : “Le Monde du Silence”. Fevrier 2009.

A partir de Lundi 9 Février, je réalise une exposition de mes dernières Å“uvres à la bibliothèque centrale de DUBLIN, au premier étage du centre commercial ILAC. Pour l’occasion, je présenterais 8 nouvelles peintures inédites, plus celle du LUAS (Jungle LUAS”), pour ceux qui veulent voir l’original en chair et en os (bois et toile).
Et parallèlement à cela, il y aura la réalisation “LIVE” d’une fresque portant sur”Le Monde du Silence”. La fresque va durer au moins une semaine, période pendant laquelle vous pourrez venir voir le travail en cours, vous faire tirer le portrait façon poisson, laisser un mot sur la feuille d’Or (pas encore de livre d’or !) , acheter la toile ou bien une partie (si vous avez un mur de 7 mètres de long chez vous a couvrir, c’est l’occasion rêvée!) ou bien encore m’aider à mettre un peu de bleu et de Jaune dans ce monde de Brute.
Je realiserais des photos au fur et à mesure de l’avancement du projet et vous tiens au courant.

Live Fresco in the Central Library Dublin.

Everyone is welcomed to this live performance, wich will take place from Monday 9th February to the Saturday 14th February. I will be present at the ILAC Library during the opening hours for the achievment of a huge Fresco composed of 4 pannels of 180 x 90 cm.
The purpose of this event is to celebrate the LUAS Painting and show my nex painting collections based on the “Jungle LUAS”, wich stage fishes, lots of Fishes…. On one side you will discover 8 paintings and on the other side, a broad aquatic scenery. Just like if you were in a fish tank.
Few leaflets have been made for the advertisement of this event, 6 flyers will be printed and put up all around the ILAC shopping Center. Few pictures for the exhibition presentation ….

The day after Free Art Friday. (et alors !??)

Well here are few pix of the free art friday, wich was a bit strange day as nobody see any painting : the were only left for few seconds in place before beiing avidly treasured.
As i said, i put mine on a bench in front of the National Gallery around 4.30 pm. Wasn’t here anymore when i went out at 5.15pm. Here is “Lucky Fish” … a little treat for the gallery enthusists…

 Quelques photos du Free Art Friday, une journée un peu étrange étant donné que tout le monde etait au courant mais personne n’a rien vu. Tout le monde s’y accorde : c’était bien mais personne n’a rien vu… Un non-événement alors ? Un peu comme le bug de l’an 2000….
Bref, comme tout est parti à 7h du mat dans Dublin, j’ai mis une Å“uvre dans l’après midi à la “national gallery”. Déposé à 4h30,porté disparu à 5h17 quand je suis repassé devant. Je préférais le donner a quelqu’un’ un fréquentant un musée plutôt que de le mettre en pleine rue le matin. Je voulais le mettre dans la galerie au départ mais apparemment, ce n’est pas possible, étant donné que les gens sortiraient avec un vermeer ou un mondrian sous le bras prétextant le free art friday…

Well what’s that day ? It’s just a day in January wich is not depressive, because you will find Free Art in Dublin. Free art, that you can take with you and treasure. Started this morning from7.30 am and go on for all the day.
where to find art ? In sheltered areas, bus seat, door way or phone box. park benches, window ledges, railings and you can even expect to find one piece in a sitting on a museum seat just waiting to be found. (Lucky Fish is one of theses…).
So 3 watercolors and one acrylic of mine in Dublin….among the 200 art pieces proposed by many others artists.

Alors le Gratos Art Vendredi Jour, c’est simple : des oeuvres sont disseminées partout dans la Ville. Ca permet de contrebalancerun mois de janvier morose et deprimant. Ca commence donc ce matin, (déja commencé donc) et ca va durer toute la journée.
Pour trouver les oeuvres, c’est assez simple, il faut sortir de chez soi et avoir de la chance de tomber dessus. Les plus chanceux seront donc ceux qui vont aller dans des abri-bus, des hall d’entrée, des cabines téléphonique, des rebords de fenetre, des grilles de jardin, ceux qui iront au cine, et meme ceux qui iront au musée….
J’ai proposé 3 aquarelles de happy-painting ainsi qu’une acrylique, et c’est peu parmis les 200 oeuvres proposées pour Dublin. Bonne chasse !
