Pagazine, The surfin’ Magazine…

Je prépare une série de petits formats en utilisant des sujets aussi divers que variés.  J’ai travaillé sur les tailles suivante 10 x 10, 15 x 15cm, 20 x 20cm et 30 x 30cm. L’exercice de style me permet de travailler mes personnages intégrés aux dessins. J’en profite aussi pour travailler les fonds colorés des dessins avec l’utilisation de bombes de couleurs.

I’m currently working on a serie based on small scale artworks, using very different themes and inspiration. I’m working on the following sizes :  10 x 10, 15 x 15cm, 20 x 20cm et 30 x 30cm. Working on theses make me work on the integrated figures and silhouettes integrated on the line. I’m also working on the backgrounds with using sparypaint.

I am currently working in the streets of Barcelona, this picture show my models for the next months of work. I’m also open for any suggestion for the next artworks.

These are unique pieces, but posters of theses will be available to buy in the street or through my website.

I’m proud to announce the next and last exhibition in Dublin this Year. The show will be called

“ONE LINE”

“One Line” is the second solo show of the year for the street artist Pierre-Emmanuel GODET.

“Imagine the synthesis of two major POP artist “Andy Warhol” and “Keith Haring”

Acclaimed by the public throughout the streets of Dublin since 2 months, the art collection will be on sale on Tuesday 13th of July at the CFCP. You will then discover the portrait of famous Irish and non Irish celebrities drawn throughout their personality trait.

The show will include :

The first paintings done ith that technic, made during the artist residency in Cill Rialaig,
The serie of street performance paintings done in Dublin during theses last 8 weeks :

• Marylin
• Bono,
• Rafael Nadal
• Oscar Wilde
• Brian Kennedy
• The Edge
• Elvis
• And many more…

And finally, the “Car Park” installation will be on show during this event. You will be finally able to look at this strange and intimate Original installation.

WHY YOU SHOULD COME ?

Because this will be my last show this year,

You will never see that again in Dublin because it’s brand new and never seen before in the World

Because their will be french wine during the opening.

WHY SHOULD YOU BUY ?

Because the original artworks ar for sale at their lowest price ever

Because  tons of poster will  be done from theses paintings and will increase the price of the original

Because it’s new and appreciated by 99% of the population of Dublin.

I am now in the streets of Dublin, doing paintings in “plein-air”. I regularily change of spots but try to go closer to grafton Street. So if the weather is dry enough, you can find me in the neighborhood between 10am and 5pm.

Well here we go again at the sheds with a brand new exhibition with another artist. We will presetn exclusive new works under the spotlights (was a bit dark last time, so not this time then).

The venue is the “Sheds”, where the connolly’s family pour the best stouts of Dublin. 198 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3. (bus 130 with a stop at Vernon Av & clontarf Road).

As the recession is really hitting hard, i will propose a selection of very affordable works with a price range of (70 euros-130 euros). Joe, my co-exhibitor told me he would try to propose affordable works as well.

The exhibition will run on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28th of March 2010, so if you are around you will be welcome !

I will be at the opening of the Design Week 2009, for a live painting. Wednesday 4th November 2009 – 7pm venue : Filmbase, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 Admission : FREE

I plan to put my next paintings on ebay for auction. The paintings will be on show in the “sheds”, pub on Clontarf Road, Dublin. Every week / 2 weeks, a brand new painting will be hosted for the auction. You will be able to appreciate the painting in real and have the opportunity to bid on it.

About the artist :  i am a self taught artist and like to work “plein-air”. I have two distinct styles : oil painting like theses in the rear lounge of the sheds and contemporary piece of art (on auction). Art collecting  isn’t a new concept. That being said, art can be one of the most enjoyable ways to invest as you can derive day-to-day pleasure from it. But of course, the ultimate goal is to enjoy it for a while before selling it for a profit. Buy early when prices are still relatively low.
Emerging artists who are on the way up in the echelons of the art world are the best place to put your cash if you wish to make a wise investment…
