STING
Acrylique et encre de chine sur toile
86 x 60 cm.

Artist note : I recently put the picture on the Brian Kennedy website . I have had several great comments and had the recent visit of Joan, a big Brian Fan in the streets of Dublin. We shook hands and was sorry not to have brian with me to show her the artwork.
I also met Marie-Agnes, a french girl wich is writing a book about him. She was really interrested to get the picture for the book. Well i’m waiting for her to contact me and arrange something !
Creation note : The painting was born on the 16th of June 2010 on the pavement of Grafton Streeet. Dubliners and tourist didn’t really recognise Brian but Elvis or the Irish Elvis. What you can find in the picture are the fans of brian asking for his hand, the message put into a bottle then put in the box and driven in a car all around the World (put the message in the bottle lyrics reference), the carrickfergus Castle, the red right hand of Berlfast and of course, Brian on stage !
