ombre peintre sable I really wanted to paint in a sunny weather since last week. The purpose was the morning sun on the bathing shelter of Bull wall. So I took my set with me and went to the wall and put my shoes in the sand. I already have a rough idea of the painting as i had already made a watercolor of the bathing shelter. I started this day with the feet in the sand.

Bathing shelter I first met the painting teacher i already met last wekk when i was doing few watercolors. She was taking her big white labrador out, and tis time was the Oil painting in action. I get the same morning light this morning : deep and rare. A september morning in Ireland.

thomas and anna Between two brushstrokes, i met Thomas and Anna, two photographers practicing the Nikon and Canon in the sunny morning. They both work for the Merk&Whittaker company. They really enjoy this new and unusual subject and take some pictures of a local area painter. wich was not wearing his most photogenic jumper this day.

bathing shelter The Bathing shelters are not so used theses days, they are build all along the bull wall. They might be used few decades ago. I didn’t finished the painting this morning, i had to met Dave at the shed for exhibiting my pictures in the pub.

painting the bathing shelter Back this afternoon not so far from the first painting. It was high tide and didn’t have the possibilities to put myself at the same place. So i started another painting from the shelter. Unfortunatelly, the hot weather fog join to the party, and this well famous sunlight disappear… (so rare theses days).
